Summer of Service (SOS) is a ministry started at Rosewood in 2018 to build a servant’s heart within the congregation. We started small with just some kids doing small projects for people and now it has grown into both a kids and adult ministry doing bigger projects for our community. One of SOS biggest accomplishments was the leading of the community storm clean up in 2019 bringing together the church, community, and businesses. In 2019 there was a devastating storm with straight line winds that left many in our community feeling helpless not knowing how to clear the thousands of pounds debris. With God’s prompting and providence Rosewood and the surrounding community were able to clear most everyone’s debris within a week.
