Kids Ministries
From the nursery to upper elementary, Rosewood is passionate about helping kids know and love Jesus. Opportunities to serve include mentoring through midweek groups like GEMS (for girls)and Cadets (for boys), and on Sunday mornings, caring for infants in Seedlings, leading little ones in Sprouts (3 yrs–K), and guiding kids in Buds (1st–5th grade), teaching Sunday School.

Student Ministries
Serving with students is all about investing in the next generation. From 3rd–12th grade, our youth groups meet during the school year for fun, connection, and growing in faith. Volunteers help by leading small groups, planning events, building relationships, and supporting summer activities. It’s a chance to walk alongside students as they discover who they are and who God made them to be.

ACTS (A Community That Serves)

In 2023, Rosewood’s Outreach Team expanded Summer of Service (SOS)into a year-round effort called ACTS: A Community That Serves. People of all ages come together for practical service projects that meet real needs in Jenison, Hudsonville, and beyond.
We’re always looking for new ways to serve our neighbors. If you’d like to get involved, or if you know of a need in the community, tap here to message Kaitlyn.
Building and Grounds
This team keeps Rosewood’s facilities and campus safe, welcoming, and well cared for. From basic maintenance and seasonal projects to outdoor upkeep, there are always ways to pitch in. Whether you’re handy with tools, enjoy yard work, or just want to help keep our spaces looking their best, there’s a place for you.

Hand2Hand
Through our partnership with Rosewood Elementary and Hope Academy of West Michigan, Rosewood helps provide weekend meals for students who might otherwise go hungry. Volunteers pack and deliver food, making sure kids are cared for beyond the school week. It’s a simple, hands-on way to show love and meet real needs in our community.
Hand2Hand runs during the school year, and donations are always welcome. All food items must be shelf-stable, non-expired, and not in glass containers. We accept a variety of non-perishable items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Donations can be dropped off at the Hand2Hand Stand by the Café on Sundays, or anytime the building is open during the week.

Accessibility
We are committed to making church life welcoming and accessible for everyone. Our Accessibility Team helps remove barriers—whether physical, social, or spiritual—so that all people can fully participate in worship and community.
There are many ways to be involved: joining the team, offering support to individuals or families, or simply learning how to be more aware and inclusive. Every step helps create a church where everyone belongs.
