Sunday Groups
On Sunday mornings, we offer groups for every stage of life—from young adults to seniors—as well as multigenerational classes where all ages learn together. These groups are a great way to grow in faith, build friendships, and find your place in the Rosewood community. Tap here to connect with Kaitlyn to help find the group that’s right for you. Rooted
Rooted is an 11-week small group experience that helps you connect with God, the church, and your purpose. Sessions are offered in the fall and spring, and each week includes Scripture, discussion, and practices that deepen faith in a practical way.

Young Adult
Our Young Adult ministry offers two groups designed for different life stages—whether you’re single, dating, or married—each a place to connect, grow, and pursue faith together.
Emerging Young Adults (formerly 1829) – For those just stepping into adulthood: in college, starting a career, single or exploring relationships, recently engaged, or newly married. This group is a space to ask honest questions, discover faith outside a parent’s home, and build meaningful friendships. We’ll begin meeting again after the service on Sunday, Sept. 7 in the café by the high-top tables.
Established Young Adults (New Group!) – For those with a few years of adulthood behind them: settling into careers, married for a few years, or beginning the journey of parenting. Whether single or married, this group provides support and encouragement to grow deeper in faith while balancing the demands of work, relationships, and family. Gatherings begin Sunday, Sept. 7 after the service.

Deaf Ministry

People from across West Michigan who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing are an important part of our church family.

- Worship Service: Our 9:30 a.m. service is interpreted, and our sanctuary is equipped with a hearing loop. A portable hearing loop is also available for classes, seminars, and events outside the sanctuary.
- Sunday School & Events: A sign language-led Sunday School group meets each week, and interpreters are povided for special events when needed.
- Community: Once a month, we host a Silent Social (11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with a meal, games, and fellowship. Check our calendar for dates.
Our interpreters serve with a heart to minister to the Deaf community. If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or interested in learning more, contact our ministry leader, Elizabeth here.
Senior Programs
Bus Cruisin’
Rosewood sponsors a variety of bus trips—some are single-day getaways, others last 3–6 days. Past adventures have included Shipshewana, the Blue Gate Theater for dinner shows, and a favorite fall trip to Bond Falls in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Longer journeys have taken groups all over the country—from Branson, Missouri and Door County, Wisconsin to Savannah, Georgia, Portland, Maine, Charleston, South Carolina, and even riverboat cruising on the Mississippi. Travelers have also explored the Creation Museum & Ark Encounter in Kentucky, Washington, D.C., and more.
These trips provide opportunities to see new places, build friendships, and create lasting memories.
In addition to trips and events, seniors at Rosewood connect regularly through small groups. These groups provide a place for Bible study, prayer, and friendship in a relaxed setting. Some meet on Sundays, others during the week—each one offering community and encouragement for this stage of life.
